Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line 1 is the first urban rail transit line in Vietnam, connecting the city center with eastern provinces. The line spans approximately 20 kilometers with 14 stations and one depot. This project is a milestone in Vietnam's rail transit modernization, developed with Japanese Official Development Assistance loans and with Sumitomo Corporation serving as the EPC contractor.
Burkaf partnered with Sumitomo Corporation to provide fire-resistant cable trays and seismic supports for the depot of this project. The products needed to meet the strict fire protection and seismic safety standards of the rail transit sector.

Special Operating Conditions of Rail Transit: The depot experiences frequent train movements, generating vibration, impact, and other dynamic loads, demanding high stability and durability from the support system.
Vietnam's Hot and Humid Climate: Vietnam has a tropical monsoon climate with high temperatures and high humidity, presenting additional challenges for corrosion resistance.
Burkaf provided fire-resistant cable trays and seismic support systems for the depot of this project, fully meeting the strict fire protection and seismic safety standards of the rail transit sector.
