The Outward-Flanged Ladder-Type Cable Tray with Perforated Rung & Side Rail is a high-performance cable management system that integrates four key design features: outward-flanged side rails for structural efficiency, ladder-type open construction for easy access, and perforated rungs and side rails for superior ventilation and cable protection.
The outward-flanged side rails are a standout feature. Unlike traditional inward or vertical flanges, the outward-facing flange design significantly enhances the tray's moment of inertia and torsional rigidity, allowing for longer spans and higher load capacities with less material thickness. This design also creates a clean, obstacle-free interior channel, making cable laying, pulling, and re-routing faster and safer by eliminating snag points. Furthermore, the outward flange simplifies splicing and joining between tray sections, as couplers and splice plates can be attached externally without intruding into the cable zone.
Both the rungs and the side rails are perforated with precision-engineered openings. The perforated rungs provide a stable, slip-resistant resting surface while allowing heat to dissipate upward and downward through the cable bundle. The perforated side rails add an extra dimension of airflow, enabling cross-ventilation that effectively removes trapped heat from dense cable fills.
