Ladder-Type Cable Tray (Reversed Weld Rungs) – Product Description

The Ladder-Type Cable Tray with Reversed Weld Rungs is a heavy-duty cable support solution engineered for superior strength, stability, and cable protection. The distinctive reversed weld rung design means the rungs are welded from the underside of the side rails rather than the top, creating a completely smooth, obstruction-free cable bearing surface.

This reversed welding method eliminates protruding weld beads or sharp edges on the top side of the rungs, where cables rest. As a result, cable jackets and insulation are protected from abrasion, cutting, or uneven pressure during installation and throughout the service life of the system. This feature is especially valuable for sensitive cables, including fiber optics, instrumentation cables, and high-voltage power lines.

The ladder-type open construction allows for excellent heat dissipation, easy cable routing, and simple future additions or modifications. The open design also minimizes dust and debris accumulation while providing maximum cable visibility for inspection and maintenance.

Reinforced side rails and securely reversed-welded rungs deliver outstanding load-bearing capacity and torsional rigidity, making this tray ideal for long spans, heavy cable bundles, and demanding industrial environments. The tray is commonly manufactured from pre-galvanized steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, or stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance and long-term durability in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Typical applications include power plants, oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, heavy industrial installations, infrastructure projects, and large commercial buildings where both cable protection and structural performance are critical.
