Seismic supports and hangers may be adopted for air ducts with a rectangular cross‑sectional area of 0.38 m² or greater, and for circular ducts with a diameter of 0.70 m or greater.
All smoke exhaust, fire protection, and emergency ventilation ducts shall be provided with seismic measures.
