The Minsk Data Center is one of the largest cloud and colocation facilities in Belarus, playing a strategic role in the country's digital economy development. Owned and operated by beCloud, the national telecommunications and cloud services provider, this facility supports critical IT infrastructure for government agencies, financial institutions, and enterprise customers across Belarus.
Burkaf partnered with Nokia Solutions and Networks, the main contractor and procurement entity for the project, to supply perforated cable trays, C-channels, and grounding wires for this state-of-the-art data center.
High-Density Cable Management
As a large-scale cloud and colocation facility, the data center requires dense cable layouts for power distribution, network connectivity, and telecommunications infrastructure. The cable management system must accommodate high volumes while maintaining organization and allowing for future customer additions.
Dual Regulatory Compliance
The project required products to meet both EU standards and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) technical regulations. This dual compliance demanded careful attention to certification, testing protocols, and documentation.
Cold Climate Considerations
Belarus experiences cold winters with temperatures dropping significantly below freezing. While the data center is indoor, materials and packaging had to withstand cold chain logistics during winter delivery and storage.
